This is a healthier alternative to potato chips that packs the same crunch but with less calories and fat.
You will need :
- 2 apples
- a 1/8th of a teaspoon of nutmeg
- and roughly 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar.
Instructions :
Stir up the nutmeg with the sugar in a small bowl, place thin 1 mm slices of the apples on a baking sheet in a single layer and sprinkle the sugar-nutmeg mixture over them.
Bake for an hour at 225 degrees Fahrenheit on both sides until the edges of the apple slices are ruffled and the slices are golden. Once they have cooled they will become crisp.
You can replace apples with pears. It’s also very delicious.
