Fruit Shakes
Toss in a banana, quarter cup of milk and some berries into a blender to create your toddler a shake. Add yogurt to give it some flavor, calcium and protein. To get a good consistency, you should use frozen fruit.

Fresh Fruit
The best snack food you can give your child is fresh fruit such as half a banana, orange sections, sliced apples and sliced grapes. You can also give them cut-up pears, peaches and apricots. A small bowl of unsweetened applesauce is also a good snack food.

Mini-Pizza
Add a tablespoon of marinara sauce on a toasted English muffin, adding some chopped vegetables and shredded cheese. Broil in oven for about two minutes or until the cheese has melted.

Mini-Quesadillas
Place a little bit of cheese on a corn tortilla and microwave for 20 seconds. Fold the tortilla in half and cut into pieces. Place a little salsa in a bowl to dip the quesadilla in.
