Make the pancakes using sweet potatoes probably mashed or roasted makes for a healthy addition to your normal pancakes. Drizzle butter or maple syrup on top and serve some fresh sliced fruit on the side for a colorful and delicious breakfast.

Use French bread that has a soft crust so it’s easier to cut. The kids can put the slices of bread in the egg mixture if they want to help you cook, they can also help you measure brown sugar needed for the recipe. Garnish using fresh slices of strawberry and serve with a glass of milk which could be low-fat or fat-free.
Banana Cinnamon Waffles
Spice up your usual waffle recipe with some cinnamon sugar for a delight to the senses. Drizzle with maple syrup once they are done and add sliced bananas on top for a healthy twist.
